Barite for drilling fluids
The main dealer of Kazakh barite in Uzbekistan. We supply barite weighting agent for oil and gas well drilling with delivery across the country.
What barite is and why drilling needs it
Barite (barium sulfate, BaSO₄) is a naturally occurring high-density mineral. For drilling it is ground into a fine powder and added to the drilling fluid to make the fluid heavier.
The heavier fluid balances formation pressure and keeps gas, oil and water from entering the well. That is why barite is the main weighting agent in oil and gas drilling.
Applications
- Weighting drilling fluids
- Formation pressure control while drilling
- Well killing during workover
- Weighting cement slurries
